Harry Potter and Sorcerer's Life Coach

The other day, while in Los Angeles I was walking along Hollywood Boulevard, glancing underneath my feet as names flashed by inside big gold stars.. What surprised me, is that even though I wanted to visit this famed place for a while now, all of a sudden I was overcome by very negative thoughts. "All this is for entertainers?!" It seemed so shallow, so useless all this money and attention, crowds of tourists inspecting signatures and hand prints of movie stars long gone from drug and alcohol abuse,  in front of the Grauman's Chinese Theater.

Of course, being a part of the most magical collection of people, Michael Neil's Supercoach Academy, I questioned my thoughts immediately :-) and one very surprising one came to me, as they often do -- right out of the blue :

 At least in part, movie industry and we, life coaches, are essentially in the same business.

The reason we respond to what we see on screen, I thought, is that there is a part of us that resonates with magic, romance, courage, beauty or challenge, even if its only a fantasy, in our current life. There is a part that resonates with hope, happy ending and strength to overcome impossible situations.  I believe there is a good reason for that -- we most resonate with is  what we truly are, even if its still very deep inside.

What these fantasies make one feel, what movies make one wish they were,  a powerful coach will help bring to life.
